In the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Turkey showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a mixed quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 69K in early May before gradually declining to approximately 25K by the end of June. Active users also saw a general downward trend, starting at around 977K in late March and dipping to about 691K by the end of the quarter.

Binance TR: Bitcoin and Crypto experienced significant variations in weekly downloads. The highest spike was in early May with roughly 66K downloads, followed by a decrease, ending the quarter with about 13K downloads. The active user count had a notable peak in early May at around 986K but decreased steadily to approximately 607K by the end of June.

KuCoin: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from about 38K in early April to around 6.6K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at approximately 71K in late March and decreasing to about 50K by the end of June.

BtcTurk | Kripto: BTC|USDT|XRP showed a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, with a peak of about 44K in early May, and ending at around 9.4K in late June. Active users also decreased from approximately 480K in late March to about 369K by the end of June.

Paribu | Bitcoin - Kripto Para had a relatively stable quarter in terms of weekly downloads, peaking at around 32K in early May and concluding at about 10K by the end of June. The active user count showed a peak in early May at approximately 572K, ending the quarter at around 379K.
